Modern Slavery Statement

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps ITK Ltd have taken to minimise the risk of modern slavery in our business and associated supply chains.

Introduction
In the Know Ltd is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking occurring in any part of its business activities. As a professional education and services company, engaged across a broad spectrum of clients and industries, we wish to share our company’s position, commitment and compliance through this statement and our supporting internal policies to all our potential clients.

We ensure the adherence to policy commitments and compliance of current Government legislation and regulations.

Our Statement (Modern Slavery Act 2015)
“In the Know Ltd” confirms its commitment and regulatory compliance to the Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Act 2015.

As an equal opportunities’ employer, we are committed to creating and ensuring a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment for all our staff and collaborative business partners. We want all our staff to feel confident that they can expose any wrong-doing without any risk to themselves and as such the company has an established whistleblowing policy which all staff can access alongside all other company policies on the staff intranet.

Our recruitment and people management processes are designed to ensure that all prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the UK, and where applicable subject to DBS checks in order to safeguard employees and apprentices from any abuse or coercion.

We do not enter into business with any organisation, in the UK or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.

Our contracts with our Partners/Clients/Customers allow us to terminate for convenience under a wide ranging all-encompassing reputational damage contract clause which covers those to be found in breach of the modern slavery act.

Policies relating to slavery and human trafficking
Our Anti-slavery policy is available through our staff intranet together with all other company policies and
procedures and alongside other policies is reviewed regularly to ensure adherence and compliance. This reflects our commitment to implementing and enforcing effective procedures and controls to minimise the risks of human trafficking and other modern slavery practices infiltrating our business operations and acting ethically and with integrity in all our business activities and relationships.
